Programme Overview
- Implement Citizenship Education and Community Engagement Programme - Active Citizens at the University of Peshawar, as a non-weightage three credit hour course for the under graduate students and ensure their participation in the programme.
- Develop the capacity of 30 faculty members of the University of Peshawar as Facilitators by organizing a training of facilitators at the University of Peshawar.
- Develop Monitoring & Evaluation Process to monitor the social action projects initiated by the University of Peshawar students
- Award programme completion certificates to the students who will complete their social action projects as per the criteria
- Offer programme opportunities (exchanges, seminars, policy dialogue etc.) to the University of Peshawar students
The Key Objectives
The Partnership aims to engage with a variety
of stakeholders in Pakistan and United Kingdom, altogether at individual,
organizational and community level. The programme is designed to engage with
the following audiences:
- Students of the University of Peshawar
- Faculty members of the University of Peshawar
- Policy makers
- Local authorities
- Other Partner organizations
- Heads of Institutions/NGO/CBO organisations
- Local dignities
- Media
- Community leaders.
- Community members
The Project will be complete when
- All Key Objectives are met
- Initially the project will be implemented as a pilot phase for one year

For the purpose of the table above:
- Lead: the party that has principal responsibility for undertaking the particular task, and that will be authorised to determine how to undertake the task. The Lead must act in compliance with the Key Objectives and Principles at all times, and consult with the other party in advance if they are identified as having a role to Assure the relevant activity;
- Assure: the party that will defer to the Lead on a particular task, but will have the opportunity to review and provide input to the Lead before they take a final decision on any activity. All assurance must be provided in a timely manner. Any derogations raised must be limited to raising issues that relate to specific needs that have not been adequately addressed by the Lead and/or concerns regarding compliance with the Key Objectives and Principles.
