Lectures on "Project Scope Management" (Chapter 05 of the PMBOK® Guide Fourth Edition) will present an overview of the project scope management knowledge area and detailed discussion on the constituent project management processes required to ensure that the project includes all the work required, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully. Managing the project scope is primarily concerned with defining and controlling what is and is not included in the project. Different concepts related to the project scope management processes will be discussed. Considering the fact that the outputs of project scope management processes lays the foundation for the rest of the knowledge areas, special emphasis would be given on practical exercises to augment the concepts.
