Research Methodology

This course is designed to cater the needs of academicians and practitioners. In the last decade greater emphasis has been placed on the knowledge economy where research is the pivotal element. The result is greater demand for research in academia and also in as a diverse fields as public management, business management, health sector and service sector. Funding and growth decisions of all major organizations are gradually based on data and research. Keeping in view the growing need to understand and apply the research tools the research methodology course is been offered for the first time.

Learning objectives

• The course will encompass research design elements and research methodology
• Contents are designed so that both novices and those with some background in research tolls can be benefited from the course.
• Keeping in view the importance of both qualitative and quantitative research, candidates will be exposed to the taste of both these equally important strands.
• Course on advanced research techniques will be offered depending upon the overall aptitude of the group.
